The Laguna Honda Gift Fund contains separate accounts established to support resident care and staff development.
Donations to the gift fund can be designated for (1) resident activities, (2) hospice care, (3) support for nursing staff, (4) support for medical staff or (5) support for all other hospital departments such as administration or operations.
The resident gift fund provides a range of amenities that help expand personal choices and integrate Laguna Honda residents into the broader civic life of San Francisco.
The fund underwrites initiatives such as presentation of cultural events and group transportation for day trips throughout the city. It also funds personal necessities such as clothing and toiletries as well as books and computers.
The staff gift fund provides support for training programs such as meals at staff retreats, small gifts to acknowledge exemplary service and subscriptions to trade journals.
All contributions to the gift fund are applied to resident support unless otherwise designated.
